Haven Road provides access to the area near Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve, running from the residential part of Hill Head towards the reserve entrance and the coast. The road is used by visitors heading to the nature reserve as well as by local residents. Properties along Haven Road are residential, with houses enjoying a relatively secluded setting close to one of Hampshire's most important wildlife sites. The road has a quiet, semi-rural feel, particularly at its southern end where it approaches the reserve boundary. Haven Road is a short street, but its connection to the nature reserve gives it a significance beyond its length. During busy birdwatching periods, particularly in spring and autumn migration seasons, the road sees increased traffic from visiting naturalists.
