Bay House Road

Bay House Road takes its name from Bay House School, a secondary school located in the Gosport and Fareham area that has historically served students from Hill Head and surrounding communities. The road runs through the Crofton area and is lined with residential properties, predominantly postwar houses in a suburban setting. Bay House Road connects to Crofton Lane and provides access to several smaller side streets and cul-de-sacs. The area is popular with families partly because of the proximity to local schools. The road has a quiet, residential character with limited through traffic. Gardens are generally well maintained, and there are mature trees along parts of the route. Bay House Road is within reasonable walking distance of both Stubbington's shops and Hill Head's seafront.
